Overview

YES is affiliated with ABRSM (Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music), the world's leading authority on musical assessment.

Students of the Young European Strings School of Music are annually presented in graded practical (instrumental) and theory examinations before ABRSM.

Practical examinations are evaluated according to a points system:

Advanced students will be invited to join the Young European Strings Chamber Orchestra (YESCO), which, to date, has released three studio albums and has toured extensively throughout Europe.

The level of Grade 8 Theory and Practical ABRSM exam is required at the auditions of all national and continental third level institutes.
