Group Classes

We offer group music lessons for young children to learn the violin, viola, cello, and double bass.

Dublin Music School Teachers

Young European Strings School of Music offers the following group classes:

  • Music appreciation 'fun classes' for children aged three to six years
  • ABRSM theory classes for yearly examinations Grades 1-5
  • YES also organises public workshops/masterclasses for ABRSM Grade 6 and higher levels in preparation for practical exams and competitions, with piano accompaniment.
  • Depending on the technical and artistic development of the students studying ABRSM Grade 6 and higher and their programmes for the year (which may include Feis Ceoil and other local and national competitions, as well as preparation for Youth Orchestra auditions), there are, on average, two-six workshops and masterclasses per semester.
  • For younger students, YES holds public concerts every six weeks.
